Our collections
Our collections include rare objects and peculiar curiosities that may very well change the world as you know it. They who with an open mind dare to enter the universe of Dr Cagliostro will from that moment on view their world in a completely new and somewhat extraordinary light. A world where old truths fade away into the shadowy mists of narrow-mindedness, a world where new exciting possibilities bring down the manacled doors of perception, a world, in short, without boundaries.
Amongst the many unique objects in our collection sits a rare and much coveted copy of the dreaded grimoire "The Necronomicon" printed in London 1651.
We are also pleased to be able to present the recently unveiled tools of an anonymous Swedish vampire hunter, dating from the early years of the 20th century.
A never before seen holy-water handgun, probably used by vampire hunters in the Catholic Order of Jesuits in the late 19th century, completes this dark assemblage.
We also have a unique collection of objects that the 16th cetury mystic Dr John Dee used in his amazing exploring the unknown. This, and much more ...
And finally, reserved for those of you with a strong constitution, one of the most frightening and aberrant pieces in our collection - no less than a mummified mermaid, surreptitiously transported home in 1903 by the Swedish explorer Otto Nordenskjöld's Antarctic expedition.
All this and much more...
Dr Cagliostro´s cabinet of curiosities casts light among the shadows.
Johann von Goethe's ghost goggles
Since the beginning of time, mystics have sought to understand the unknown, to see the invisible. During the early nineteenth century, German writer and polymath Johann Wolfgang von Goethe preformed strange experiments in which he combined ancient forbidden lore with modern science. He thereby succeeds in creating a remarkable instrument that makes ghosts and other astral beings visible to the naked eye.
In the paranormal research community, the instrument has come to be known as an AVD, astral vision device, or in ordinary speech, ghost goggles. The goggles has been used by many paranormal investigators, sometimes with disastrous consequences...

A vampire hunter´s equipment
In the years between the great wars a plague of vampirism swept across Europe, the like of which has never been seen since.
From these dark days we have been fortunate enough to have recovered the intact equipment of one of the very last vampire hunters known to exist. This diabolical equipment illustrates perfectly the gruesome story of the hidden war against the undead.

Did the Swedish explorer Sven Hedin discover proof of a living river dragon when excavating the lost city of Dandan Oilik in the deadly Taklamakan dessert in 1909?
Have these creatures been known to European explorers since the 18th century?
And what did the famous writer August Strinberg know about these horrible monsters?
Dr Cagliostros cabinet of curiosities unveils this strange tale. A tale so full of thrilling
adventures and amazing human fates, that it surprised even us...
The oil of Judah haNasi´and the necromancy of the Orient.
During the ongoing and often arduous work of cataloging the plethora of unusual objects in the archives of Dr Cagliostro we discovered a small seemingly insignificant bottle in an old cigar case.
The bottle contained a greenish liquid mixed with fragments of unknown herbs and, whats more, the cigar case contained a small crumpled hand writhen note that read:
Trois flacons de l´huile de Judah haNasi. Le Caire 1818. A. C.
On the back of the note was the following reference:
Page 271
What was the contents of the bottle? Who was A. C? What was on page 271, and in what book?
The answers were closer and more frightening than we thought…
A curious device
Towards the end of the 1910s we received threats towards the museum that were so grave that the former curator decided to commission a unique detection device to protect our most sort after object, the forbidden black magic tome - The Necronomicon.

The mysterious mermaid from Mozambique
After the great flood in the early 21th century, we began to receive strange rumours about a mysterious religious movement that had started to spread along the east coast of Africa. A movement with frightening resemblance to the supposedly long-extinct Ogdoad cult.
We were hoping to find one of these cults, and thereby uncover clues to some of the ancient Toth's mysteries. Due to the unexpected and frightening events that this article describes, our investigations where interrupted when we accidently stumbled over an even stranger mystery...

The grave of the Ghost flier.
In 1927 Major Gösta von Porat is assigned by the newly formed Swedish Royal Air Force, to investigate the rumours of a strange aircraft crash near the Svea coalmine on the west coast of Spitsbergen.
After a short investigation, von Porat confiscates all known documents concerning the Svea incident, both from private citizen’s and from the mining company Spitsbergen’s Swedish coalfields Incorporated’s archives. All the witnesses to the incident ether die, disappear or are silenced.
The frightening and bizarre events that took place in the isolated mining village on the west coast of Svalbard in the winter of 1925, seemed to have been erased from history.
Only now, many years later, it’s possible to add several seemingly separate stories together, and thereby reveal a extraordinary and frightening story. A story that could be harbouring unthinkable cosmic secrets...
